During college times I really liked the artist Roy Lichtenstein, The idea of the benday dots representing the cheap printing process.
I did a replica painting of Crying Girl 1964. Using the style of Roy Lichenstein I created something else that represented Barbie. I used acrylic paint and a fine paintbrush to do every dot, as you can see I got tired and some lines are not straight.
